This is the start of 4 cranes that will be heading out to our Texas customers. We like to name some of our bigger cranes, and we thought we would name these sister cranes. We call this first crane, Betsey. She is one of the triplet cranes that will be used for the machines. She is a Class D, 40-Ton, 87’-½” span, top running, double girder, triple trolley bridge crane with one 40-Ton trolley hoist and two 20-Ton trolley hoists with a 12-Ton auxiliary monorail consisting of a R&M main 12-Ton main hoist and R&M12-Ton Auxiliary hoist. Phew! That’s a lot but Betsey has a list of things she will need to do for our customer! Just like those Texas tornados you don’t want to mess with Betsey! Stay tuned to catch her 3 other sisters taking off and let me tell you, the last one……..she’s a doozy!
