This is just the beginning of the end of the assembly of this machine crane. This Class D, 87’, 40 –Ton, top running, double girder bridge crane with a 12 –Ton auxiliary monorail will have one 40– Ton trolley hoist and two 20– Ton trolley hoists. The monorail will have one 12-Ton main hoist and one 12-Ton Auxiliary hoist. This crane features a full front service platform with access staircase and platform, SCC heavy duty Class “D” built up trolley hoists with modular gear boxes, Magnetek controls, and SCC TET-18 heavy duty Class “D” end trucks. Phew!!! This is the first crane out of four that will be heading out to a paper mill facility.
